Pigs

I’ve been trying out this internet thingee over the last few days. You sure can find a lot of weird things on line. I googled ‘pigs’ because my stuffed pig went to toy heaven and I need a new one. You wouldn’t believe the stuff that came up. I didn’t know that pigs looked like that. I’ve only seen the stuffed one that my human gave me. It was pink and soft and made these funny noises. The pigs online look totally different and they don’t look like they’d be fun to sleep with.

I miss my pig. It was the first toy my human bought me. I loved pig. He was my pillow and my friend. We went through a lot together. He had kind of a weak constitution though, his stuffing was prone to coming loose. But I was always right there with him during his surgeries. My human is pretty good with that needle and she always did a great job, but apparently there are only so many surgeries a stuffed pig can endure. He finally went to piggie heaven. My human let me watch her bury him in the big white container in the kitchen. I sniffed him goodbye. I think it must have been a really good place for him to go, because that white can always has lots of interesting smells.

I still had cow and ball, but it just wasn’t the same without pig. My human brought home a duck for me. It was really cool. It quacked whenever I squeezed its tummy. I liked that part the best. My human wasn’t real fond of that though - she kept saying something about me being O.C.D. when I quack my duck. I’ll have to remember to look O.C.D. up. Anyway, duck doesn’t quack anymore. I’m afraid he’s headed for the white can soon too. His stuffing is starting to show. But for now, I’ll enjoy the time we have left together. He’s a pretty good pillow and friend too.
